What would you like to do?
How it works
- Pay once per car and get 30 photos. Photos you don't use are added to your next inspection (up to 30, valid for 90 days).
- Follow the shot list: roof, bonnet, doors, fenders, pillars, sills, fuel cap, bolts and more. Skip anything you don't need.
- Line each panel up with the on-screen outline. The app reads the colour at several spots and skips any spot with a reflection.
- Get a colour-match score for every panel and an overall rating.
One inspection credit
Covers 30 photos of one car. Retakes are free.
Demo mode: no money is charged and no payment details are collected. In the live app this button opens the gateway's secure page or the wallet app to approve.

How to shoot
Light
- Shade or an overcast sky gives the most even colour. Avoid harsh midday sun and coloured street lights.
- Take every photo in one session, in the same spot. Moving the car between shots changes the light.
- Turn the flash off. It creates a bright hotspot that hides the true colour.
Angle and distance
- Line the whole panel up with the outline on screen. Doors and fenders: about 1.5–2 m. Bonnet and boot: about 1.5 m from a front or rear corner. Pillars, sills and jambs: 0.5–0.8 m. Bolts: 20–30 cm.
- The circles are sample spots. Green spots are read; red spots have a reflection and are skipped. Step sideways if most spots turn red.
- After the photo you can tap to move any spot onto clean paint.
Reading the score
- 8–10 Match. Colour is consistent with the rest of the car.
- 6–7 Check. Slight difference. Could be light, could be a respray. Look closely and use a paint gauge.
- 1–5 Mismatch. Clear colour difference. Likely repainted or replaced.
A photo can show a colour difference, but it cannot measure paint thickness. Confirm any doubtful panel with a paint thickness gauge or a professional inspection.
